My name is Crumb. Yes, that is my nickname and I use it in everything I can think of. From online passwords to video game profiles; I am The Crumb. The nickname came to me when a teacher in my 8th grade class called me by my last name, however, she horribly mispronounced it and called me “Crumb”. It struck again in college when I was at a video store and the clerk looked at my ID and said “Hello Mr. Crumb. Oh, your last name is not Crumb? I was reading your name as Crumb”. As I told this tale to my closest friends, the name stuck forever. I am “The Crumb”.
