First things first, I pride myself on owning all the best stuff. If i buy a cell phone, it has to be the best one, if i buy mascara - same thing. That's why i love Epinions.
I love Epinions because I love things that make life more efficient. It is extremely efficient for me to find people with my interests recommending and reviewing the best stuff out there. I don't have to spend money on dud items, and i can find things that will enhance my life.
As far as my WOT. I think i will find a few people in each focus category and trust them and read everything they write. This seems like the most efficient way to get what i want out of the site. I write reviews based on my most used, my favourite and my least favourite items. In other words, things i care about. Take a look and see. I first came to Epinions to research computer parts...then came audio stuff, next came make-up. And the rest is history. I guess i'm an addict. I usually read new opinions, then after rating, read and rate a few more from that person, i hope you do the same and read some of my older stuff.
Epinions pet peeves My number one right now is people who right movie synopsis instead of reviews. "this happened, then this happened, then that happened and i really like it alot!" Are you kidding me? My second pet peeve is people who write about all the different types of pain meds. Um, it's either ibuprofin or acetominaphrin, stop being ridiculous.
Anyway...I love the idea that from now on i will save tons of money buy only buying the best quality for the price thanks to Epinions and it's members.
Also, the website Qrate is crazy. It really does guess exactly what i want! Try it and tell me what you think.
