About mvortex1
|
Born in Norristown Pennsylvania, I was introduced to music at a young age. I studied many types of instruments through school programs as well as outside of school. I have a few years of band which lasted through to high school.
My family history involves a lot of music. My grandfather owned a music store and my Great Uncle played for several years in the Philadelphia Orchestra. I have an aunt and uncle who were well known in the family to be able to play the old italian favorites on accordian and mandolin
At the age of 13, I began to study classical piano and music theory. I spent many years under instructors who pushed me to study all the time.
Eventually, I focused mainly on guitar. I spent years taking lessons, and kept a mind for original song writing.
I spent some time doing a lot of my own stuff in the studio, including singing. I plan on continuing to write and record on my own. Eventually I would also like to get into writing fiction.
