I am 58 years old and have been a stay at home homemaker for thirty-seven years. I worked for NASA-Marshall Space and Flight Center, Security Division, when I first married in 1961. When my husband and I decided to start a family I quit work to stay home and be a mom. I have two wonderful sons and they have blessed me with two wonderful daughter-in-laws.
I am now the proud Grandma of five grandchildren, four living and one that passed away at the age of 18 months.
I lost my husband to a heart attach only one year and four months after the death of my granddaughter.
After the death of my granddaughter, Amanda and my husband Dean, I felt my life was over. It's a hard struggle every day, but one of the things that has helped me was finally learning to use a computer. This has opened up a whole new world to me. My daughter-in-law and I created a memorial site in memory of Amanda; and this was a big step toward a healing process.
I am thrilled to find Epinions and love reading the opinions of the wonderful writers that I have found here. I enjoy writing my opinions and sharing my thoughts and feelings with others.
