Wow, 100,000 characters? That's a lot! I'll do my best.
As I stated earlier, I love photography and the fact that I live in New York city gives me plenty of photo opportunities. I never, never run out of subjects. There's always something going on in the city, especially in summer. Cultural events abound, and if they're outdoors, they're free! Well, usually.
Did I mention I love to read, too? Yes, I do! And the subway is a wonderful place in which to read. Commuting time flies when I'm reading a good book.
I'm a very curious person and find almost everything interesting. The Internet has widened my horizons in a way I would have never dreamed possible. I can travel all over the world with the stroke of a few keys, make friends from the other side of the world, send them my pictures over the Internet. What more can I ask? I'm afraid I'm addicted to this thing. Well, at least it's not a destructive addiction. He, he, he.
All I need now is money so I can travel to those distant places. I know I won't get rich with Epinions but I can dream, right?
9/20/2001 - I have not checked this site in some time and one of the reasons is the tragedy of the World Trade Center. I would have never, ever thought, that one day I would see the destruction of one of the most popular and beloved landmarks of New York City, one that you can see from almost anywhere in the city. I often used them as point of reference if I became lost and now they just disappeared.
I set up a photographic memorial dedicated to the victims who lost their lives or were injured in the attack but I also dedicate it to the towers, those sentinels that made New York proud for such a long time.
September 11, 2001 will be a day New York and the world will never forget.
