If you notice, I usually give pretty high marks in my reviews. This isn't because I'm trying to convince myself that what I have is the best thing in the world. Rather, it's just a reflection of how much time and thought I put into my purchases (which often includes checking epinion reviews!). This usually has the effect of making a satisfying purchase of a quality product. However, sometimes I fall into the same marketing traps as everyone else. That's where the beauty of this site comes in. When I write a review, I try to impart some of the things I learned about as a result of researching my consumer choices so that the reader can benefit from my experience.
