Hi, I go by Nini23 because when I started writing here that was my email name. I first created that name when I was 23, hence the number, now I am 28 and when I first started writing for Epinions I was 24. So, the 23 doesn't make much sense!
A lot has happened since I began writing here. After I came here to Epinions.com, at 23, I almost lost my life in a car accident that involved my mother and I on Highway 12 in Wisconsin. We were driving on December 19th and a car collided with our car head on. For all accounts and purposes my mother and I are lucky to be alive today. It is kind of strange that I started writing on here not long before the accident. I have been around writing off and on since that year...sometimes less than more. Since moving to California I have pretty much abandoned Epinions all together which is strange because it is based in San Francisco. I started instead making my writing more performance based and getting on stage to poetry slam (I highly recommend all you writers to do the same).
I am pretty much addicted to writing and always have been so when I saw I could get paid for what I already do while keeping my brain happy (since graduating from college) I decided to become an "epinioneer".
Since then I have written over 150 epinions on various items. I tend not to stick to one topic simply because variety is what keeps my writing fresh. I first started off with a review on Beck's Midnite Vultures which to me at the time was the best thing since chocolate and popcorn. Since then I have branched off writing on everything from movies to tofu.
I do appreciate those whose epinions stick to one topic but I don't want to do that. Perhaps this has caused me trouble in the Web Of Trust area simply because I don't stay in one place, however if you read a few of my epinions you will know where my hobbies lie...mainly music, film, and entertainment.
Sometimes I even try to write comically which occasionally works and sometimes flops but you can't win them all. Anyway, thanks for stopping by my member center to see who I am.
