If you're reading this, I guess you want to know a bit more about me. I have a degree in Biology and teach the subject at the local high school. It's very stressful but, as my mother says, "they call it work for a reason." If I'm not at work, I'm probably listening to Jimmy Buffett or reading a book. If it's summer you'll find me doing both at the beach or in the pool.
I am also passionate about animal rescue. I am a foster for the local dog rescue and I run my own cat rescue: Ocean County Cat Rescue. I pull cats who are considered "urgent" from the local animal shelter before they are euthanized. I care for them in my home until they are adopted into safe and loving indoor-only homes. For every ONE application I receive to adopt one of my cats, I receive between 50 and 100 emails from people wanting to get rid of their pets.
