About ns_williams
Highbrow stuff:
I'm dedicated to reviving the concept of the "Renaissance" person, I seek out knowledge on all topics related to art, music, literature, and learning. I am especially interested in how technology informs these realms today. I studied English Lit as an undergraduate and almost two years ago finished my Master of Fine Arts Degree in Electronic Visualiation, with in-depth focus on information design & multimedia.

I love to read because I'm practically tied to my computers and am always working to keep up on emerging technologies. Reading gets me into another space altogether, where I can let my imagination wander around freely, get lost and take an occasional break from the wired, rapid-fire world.

Lowbrow stuff:
I have also been known in my downtime (when not reading) to drink four martinis with friends and convice them that a 3:00 a.m. swim in the Mississippi River is not a bad idea.

Work Stuff:
I'm a senior web producer/project manager for the most colorful and oldest interactive agency in New Orleans, Bent Media. Visit the 'Diversions' page of our unabashedly out-of-date web site to see a few interactive goofballs we keep laying around there - cool screensavers, shockwave games, the like. "Get Bent!"
