I have always loved to write, and I wrote my very first book at age seven entitled, "The Pickle Queen". I was an editor for my high school newspaper and worked as a copy editor for a free community newspaper by age 19; however, the pressure of deadlines and the blatant bias of the news industry turned me off completely and I turned my back on the media for good. Eleven years have passed, and this is the first time I have "published" any writings. I am a little rusty, so please bear with me!
My husband and I are happy to be back in Southern California after spending three years in Dallas, Texas while my husband attended University. I gave birth to my first child (a boy) in February of 2001. I feel so blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mommy! It's not easy though, and my husband and I have had to make a few sacrifices like sharing one car, but it sure is worth it to experience the miracle of my child growing, learning and changing every day! I have always been wary of the claims that companies make about their products, celebrity endorsements, and am suspicious of professional product reviewers, so I am so glad that I stumbled across this website..a place to get honest answers from everyday users. I hope that I will be able to make some positive contributions to this site!
