About ouizachle

What to say? I'm a biochemistry major at Rice University. Did I say biochemistry? I meant physics. Did I say physics? I meant to say "I have no real idea WHAT I want to do." It's driving me crazy. In the meantime, I'm still buying stuff, so I thought I would rationalize my purchases a little bit by reviewing them for others. Cool.
I have a problem with indecision, and it touches on all facets of my life. Don't make me a war general; I'd get everyone killed while trying to decide what to do. It's becoming more and more of a problem for me; I fear I'm becoming a Jack of all trades, and master of none. And that frustrates me, because I want to be good at something. That something just happens to be "everything", which is a completely unrealistic goal for a human.
I like music a lot, both listening to it and playing it. My favorite band would have to be REM, though I like Sting a lot too. I also really like Celtic music; to reflect that, I'm trying to learn bagpipes and the harp. I also play guitar, and piano. . .and. . .and. . .but I just cannot decide what I really want to play. Harp is beautiful, but guitar is fun. . .my creative juices flow on the piano, but the bagpipes are just so cool. Someone help me!
I don't watch TV very often, but a good dosage of the Simpsons every now and then keeps me happy. I'd much rather be surfing the web or reading a book -- or playing one of my myriad instruments. I also like to rollerblade around my neighborhood, and play basketball with my younger brother.
That's enough for now. As soon as I think of something more interesting to say, I'll say it :)
