Most of my friends are teachers, and because of that I've picked up a lot of knowledge -- some of it useful, some of it not. I'm hoping that my opinions are therefore somewhat educated in nature.
This isn't always the case however. Opinions will remain opinions, biased and totally personal. My friends' artsy-fartsy tendencies when it comes to movie-going has never rubbed off on me. I'll watch "Batman Returns" over "Welcome to the Dollhouse" any day of the week.
I will freely admit to being a geek. I work in a website development company and like playing video games. I have no qualms about working in front of a computer all day and then coming home to play on one all night.
Anyway, I rather enjoy blathering on about what I think, and the fact that many people will be reading it and possibly finding something useful out of it is an added bonus. In most situations I usually try to maintain objectivity. It is my nature to look at both sides of an issue, and I'm hoping some of that shows in my reviews.
