About Peggy038

I have been feeling quite numb over the tragic events of the past week.
I hope that eventually the actions our military must take, will make for a better world for our children. I wish we could ignore the terrorist acts but see no way that we can and assure our chidrens future safety.
I also believe that there is a change in our attitude. We are showing what we are really made of. A tragedy of this size brings out the best in most people and helps us find out who the truly thoughtless are (referring to the disgusting acts of would be looters, and those that would try to commit fraud against victims families)
I would like to add one more comment. Many people are now afraid to fly. I fly a couple of times a month. I have always had a fear of flying and am use to downing a glass of wine before boarding.
I do remember hearing a radio host once say "Do you think that if it is your time that God will not be able to find you if you aren't on an airplane?"
Most of the victims of these tragedies were not on a plane at the time, they were working, going about their lives.
Make sure your family and friends know you love them. Make sure if you should ever be a victim of an event like this that you have no regrets in anything you did in your life, that you have not made amends for. Try to live your life so that you will not regret not having done something yet that you wanted to do.
One more thing. I heard someone say that there are many things people regret on their death beds, but not one ever said they should have spent more time working or gaining material goods. They all feel they should have spent more time with their family and friends.
God Bless You, Peggy
