Current Goals (and other stuff about me):
Fighting in the UFC
I've been training Muay Thai kickboxing and Kuk Sool Won for some time now (3 and 7 years respectively) as well as wrestling all throughout high school. Recently, I've taken on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and will be testing for my blue belt soon. Within a year, I plan to begin my professional fighting career by fighting in small-time organizations like RCF (Reality Combat Fighting) in hopes that I will catch the eyes of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), the biggest fighting organization in the U.S., probably second in the world only to Japan's PRIDE organization. Wish me luck!
Maintaining a high (3.75 ) GPA
I am a college freshman enrolled full-time at Boston College. Financial aid didn't work out so well so my parents are paying a lot of money (which they really don't have) to send me here, so I feel that at least I owe them my hard work. It's alright though. When I start fighting pro, I'll be raking in $200 a fight in the beginning, and later a couple $1000s once I establish myself. I'm 18. I have lots of time to do that :)
Quitting Smoking
Yeah, even though I'm only 19, I've been smoking for a good 4 years now. I don't really remember starting, but most likely I started out as the typical "social smoker" and began smoking regularly when high school stress settled in. I'm not proud of it and I do not condone underage smoking; I was a dumb 15 year old who wanted to appear badass to the other kids when I started, and now whenever I go out for a jog I realize the negetive effects of it. Fear not! Because fighting for the UFC is an important goal to me now, I m determined to quit smoking. To put up a fight for long periods of time, you need great cardio, which I plan to earn as soon as possible...
Publish a Book
Lately i've been working on a novel called "The Hate Menu," about common things in life that just get on my nerves. No, it does not contain any racial hatred or anything of the sort. Things I hate include: the "i'm the victim" excuse, telemarketers calling during dinner, internet pop-ups (especially the porn), tailgaters and many, many more. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I'll be happy to consider adding them to my long long list. Just leave a comment on one of my more recent ePinions and mention that it's for my book. Thanks!
