I'm a software engineer, webmaster and meteorologist. I have a Ph.D. in meteorology from Texas A&M University, where I learned these two things in excess of the curriculum: (1) It's really fun to teach dumb machines to do smart tricks, and (2) Meteorology doesn't pay well, but software engineering does.
