About pshan
I've been using PC's since before I was a teenager, in 1979. My first PC was a TRS-80 model 1. I love electronic gadgets. And when I buy these gadgets, I usually buy the one with the best bang for the buck. This means I usually buy middle-of-the-road: not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. When I write a review for one of these gadgets, I try to pack as much information in as little space as I can. I know that people want to know how a device works, not just what features it has (that's what I look for in an epinion anyway). So I usually will not regurgitate the same information you can find on the company's web page. I am assuming that epinions is part of your research before buying a product, and so is the company's web page. What I write instead is how these features work for me, and what gotcha's I have found. I also realize that long reviews are more time-consuming to read. While my reviews are generally as complete as I need them to be, they do tend to be a bit long. Therefore, to shorten the length, I may put a lot of information in one sentence. I also know that the real value in epinions comes in reading multiple reviews, so if a sentence touches on a topic that you want more informaiton about, you could find it in another review, or send me a comment, and I'll expand on that topic. Have fun reading, and writing!
