As an advisor of Sports and Outdoors, I rate many reviews in that category. In order to earn a Very Helpful from me, you don't have to cover every single, minute, knit-picky point when writing about a topic. In fact, I'd prefer that you didn't, unless the product being reviewed requires it. I'd very much prefer that you pick a couple points about the product and discussing them in-depth rather than touching on everything half-heartedly. That's just my view, and keep in mind that other's don't exactly share it. Don't get discouraged if one of more advisors rate your review below a VH! We're all different! There's not one universal standard for rating reviews!
