I Was Flagged

I joined the happy little somewhat dysfunctional family that is Epinions at the tail end of their high pay Eroyalties days. I rapidly made a little money-more than I ever expected in fact.
I asked for a check to be cut and a week later received a friendly e mail notifying me of my flagged status. I was both shocked and horrified. I consider myself a moral person and at that moment cursed the day I ever logged on to Epinions. I e- mailed customer care and begged to know what I had done.
Then I calmed down and realized Epinions is a business just trying to watch their back and stay in business. I could no longer stay mad at Epinions.
I honestly do not understand the new Eroyalties program. It sounds to me just another way to reward Epinions experts and exclude the rest of us.
The new concept is just to abstract for my little mind to grasp.
Epinions is just serving to fuel unnecessary and hurtful competition among its diverse members by not stating exact qualifications for its bonus programs.
I also don't like the fact that Epinions encourages its community of members to police each other. I think this should fall on the Epinions staff to monitor member reviews. We are dependent on each other for honest ratings and this habit of policing leads to revenge ratings.
Epinions is a great place to be. You can express your views and interact with some great people. Once you are here for awhile the money actually becomes a non issue.
It hurts a little to be flagged. So if it happens to you when you request payment,take it in stride and put in in perspective then move on to your next review with pride in your heart. You are in excellent company.
