Popular Products in BooksThe Bottom Line Titles are a Great tool for Eye Catching Attention that may help the number of readers your epinion attracts.
Sure catchy titles are a great, and sometimes people are more likely to click on them. Along with a catchy title you must have a well-developed first paragraph to catch the readers interest. If the first few sentences are somewhat interesting, then that too can assist in the number of clicks
Titles that bug me!
1.)This (Insert--product) Sucks don't buy it! Unless you got some great reasons why & back it up with good information/facts, its a worthless title. I've read so many "reviews" that are the bare minimum of 100 words and say something like this; "THIS MOVIE SUCKS DON"T SEE IT, THE AFFECTS ARE BAD, I HATE TOM CRUISE! HE"S A BAD ACTOR!" Wow buddy that will make me see why the movie "sucked!" This rule applies to those who use the title "BEST (Insert---Product/service)" without saying anything like excellent buy for the money, bang for the buck, or don't even explain why this is the BEST PRODUCT!
I might as well ask little cousin if he likes G-I Joe and why? Then Ill get a straight answer!
Cousin: WELL DEFFY (Jeffy) Its MY FAVORIEST TOY IN THE WORLD & THEY FIGHT THE BAD GUYS!
Me: Ok, yeah? so what else?
Cousin: The bad guys get beat up! see! boom, crash, smash!! yeah! woo!
See I told you!
2.)Un-catchy puns like "This vacuum blows!" Ok well umm, you just lost my interest! I refuse to read another review like that.
3.) Brief, Catchy, and cute get my attention... please don't put "OFFSPRING ROCKS BUY THIS CD NOW OR YOUR A MORON! HURRY!" Ok yer done buddy sit down before you hurt yourself.
Don't worry about it...
I enjoy coming up with inventive titles that just are off the wall or don't have anything to do with the product... Sometimes it works, however don't judge a book by its cover! If the information in the review is relevant to the product/service and is well written, then the title doesn't bare much weight...
Titles are eye-candy more than anything
OK YOU PROMISED THIS WOULDN'T BE LONG-WINDED!
Funny, brief, cute, off the wall titles score big with me. I personally don't rack my brain over titles, however I try to make them interesting to stand out in a crowd :)...
I've gotten a few comments on my Treeloot review title in the email:
---I'm terrified to even click on it,---
Well, that made my day :)
