How TheRave2000 RatesJun 27 '00 Write an essay on this topic.In my opinion, rating will vary a lot depending on the product being reviewed. If it is a simple product with not many uses simply saying how well it works, how dependable, and how durable it is could be and easy highly recommend. Here are a few things I look for: *Length *Punctuation, Spelling, Proper Grammar, etc... *Swearing, Cursing *Staying on the topic *Length - This is something that doesn't matter if the opinion is not something that needs a whole lot of description. If you write an opinion and it is short, although quick to the point and descriptive, you can be Highly Recommended. If you give a short opinion and you stray off the point, then you may get only Recommended if the content is still good. *Punctuation, Spelling, Proper Grammar, etc... - Some people have trouble with this, even though there is a auto spell check before you submit an opinion. All I can say is just pay attention to what you are doing and this shouldn't be a problem. When this kind of stuff is bad then it can automatically turn away a reader and force them to give you a Not Recommended or if you are blessed by getting a nice person to read your opinion then possibly a Somewhat Recommended. *Swearing, Cursing - This is definitely not needed, especially on Epinions. I am just telling you that when I see a lot of swearing I will give you a Not Recommended, sorry... *Staying on the topic - This comes into play with length. If something is short and on the topic, that is fine. Short and off the topic is bad. The only time you can go off topic and still get the best rating is with a long written opinion, some people write longer opinions for that reason. Just try to hit all possible points of the product and you will do well. -Thank you!  |
