Yes, another opinion on Epinions.

Well, I have to say that overall I like epinions, with a only a few problems that are bothering me about the site. So here goes another gripe session, and I am sure that it won't change anything here at epinions, but I need to talk about it.
First of all, I don't quite understand why members rating others epinions have the option of remaining anonymous. The whole point of epinions is to provide honest ratings of those epinions, so why should we be ashamed of how we choose to rate people. You hardly ever see a highly rated opinion casted secretly, it's usually only the NR's or somewhats that choose to hide themselves. I don't like it. I know you don't have to comment on how you rate certain epinions, but I feel if you give it a poor rating you should, out of courtesy to the author, provide an explanation or even advice about the epinion.
Secondly, what is it with these "ADVISORS", and who's really to say who should or should not be one. Even people with poorly rated reviews often provide terrific advice. I recently had an advisor email me personally to inform me of my "abuse" of epinions policy regarding my profile. I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong, and would have really appreciated the advice given, had it not been done in a threatening and condescending manner. I emailed her back and thanked her, but she kept emailing me back until I finally had to send her an email telling her not to respond.
Why can't we all just be equal and leave the advice up to the people who run this site, and that would be EPINIONS!
I am sure I will get a lot of negative feedback, but "JUST BRING IT"!
