About rhino
John Bresee, 35, is a lifelong ski bum who has flipped burgers at Alta, washed dishes at Snowbird and taught skiing at Stowe. After the rock-star appeal of dish-washing wore off he became a moderately successful writer/entreupreneur. Bresee launched Wasatch Canyon Reporter newspaper, co-founded BackcountryStore.com and became editor of Powder Magazine. His work has been published in Powder, Bike, Outside, Newsweek, Core and Edge Magazine. After two-years of VC funded dot com excess in Silicon Valley he headed back to one of his earliest creations and now works at growing BackcountryStore.com into the destination for hard-core recreational athletes.
