I am a forty-something mother of two who is, of late, discovering why my own mother did not cry when I left to discover the world at age seventeen. Indeed, mom appears to derive an inordinate amount of pleasure from watching my encounters with teenage angst, teenage hormones, and teenage disrespect. Go figure. Currently employed as a computer support technician, teacher and writer. Pacific Northwest native who spends an inordinate amount of time in our own little 'nature preserve' keeping old mother nature at bay!
