What am I reading?
Villa Incognito - Tom Robbins
and I'm counting the time until George R.R. Martin's A Feast for Crows comes out...
Some reviews that need a little love:
How can we cure AIDS when we can't even provide clean water?: Betrayal of Trust by Laurie Garrett, an excellent book on the public health crisis.
Photograph Smile - An Enchanting Album: Julian Lennon's amazing CD
John Irving Goes to the Movies: John Irving's book on his many movie adaptations
I've only been into him for a couple hours, but I'm *really* into him: My review of Bruce McCulloch's hilarious comedy album
What I consider to be my most important review is on a very personal subject, birth control, and why I chose to go with the Paraguard IUD. It's very underused due to a lot of misconceptions and I hope you like reading my review about it... It's coming up to the 5,000 hits mark, which I continue to be suprised by.
My husband is on the site. He's only written a couple reviews before he gave up but feel free to check him out if you want, anyways. His name is Prod4 My brother Cmhc also joined not too long ago and also stopped writing... My dad pmc1944 is also on Epinions, and still has yet to write one review. But I still have to trust him because he's my dad. Anyways, I guess I'm the only family member who has managed to hang in here.
In case you were wondering how I rate reviews and trust:
I listen to the voices in my head and they tell me what to do...
No, I'm not crazy, but for me it all comes down to gut instinct. I don't analyze it too much, I just read it and a little voice will pop up and say, "Trust them!" or "Recommend that one, it doesn't feel like an HR..." I think the voices are quite accurate, and I always feel right just going with my instincts. Sorry, no magic formula...
