About sarah.harnisch
Sarah Harnisch (user id, sarah.harnisch) is currently an Associate Producer for Oxygen Media, a new online women's magazine and soon-to-be-cable TV network. She is also a freelance writer living in San Francisco. Her work has been published on various website magazines with topics ranging from music, art theory, culture and fashion. Sarah's first launch into the publishing world began at her internship in the Features Editorial department of VOGUE Magazine in New York.

In addition to her fascination with pop culture, she has a restless spirit motivated by her interests in traveling. An Eastcoasterner by birth, she has had the opportunity to live on both American coasts and visit several small towns across the U.S. in search of adventure.

During her year third abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, she spent some time traveling on what she calls the "American-crash-course-test-on Europe", (seeing several countries in a small amount of time) but jumped off the bandwagon half-way through to wander around cities to talk to people and gain a better understanding of their culture. Sarah's favorite vacation spots are Grindelwald, Edinburgh, Prague, the Basque coast of Spain and a couple small western towns in Colorado. She recommends avoiding the crash-course European tour and spending more time in fewer places drinking deep red wine with the locals.
