I'm a synthesis chemist working in a Discovery Research organization for a global agrochemical company. I search for chemical compounds that may help protect the world's supply of food (everybody has to eat!).
The luckiest day of my life was when I married one incredible lady: she does so many things well and understands things that completely baffle me. She especially knows how to relate to people (especially the old and the young).
We have the two greatest kids in the world, though one is all grown up and out on her own and the other is 16 going on 25. He has his own business and manages to balance all the normal high school demands with a mean game of Halo 2 (if you're under 18 you know what that is).
I enjoy watching a good baseball or softball game--one where nobody is getting paid, where everybody on the roster gets in the game and the player's average age is about 11. (oh yeah, I guess that would be Little League)
I enjoy a good outdoor-grilled, marinated Ribeye steak with steamed vegetables and homemade wheat bread. Fortunately this is forthcoming on occasion. (note above about my incredible wife)
I am a believer in the efficacy of the death of the Lord Jesus Christ as the sole and complete payment for the penalty of my sins. As such I look forward to eternal life with Him in Heaven. While here on Earth I believe God has a plan for my life and that I must do His work.
