About sdeinhorn
|
I grew up and attended college in Southern California. I then spent several years in Texas while attending law school. Now I live in New York City where I work as a tax attorney. If you read my reviews, you will quickly see that I have a fairly wide range of interests.
Besides my studies in law, I have pursued experiences and education in a variety of fields: I pastored an evangelical church for six years; I have also dabbled in academics, mostly in religion and history. I have a B.A. degree in history (with minors in accounting and business). After college, I earned a masters degree (Master of Divinity) in which I studied languages (Hebrew and Greek), theology, biblical studies, ancient history, and ministry. I also pursued further graduate work in the field of New Testament Language and Literature, which should explain why I have a fascination for some of the books which I have reviewed. I will continue to avoid reviewing overly technical works, but I believe I am pretty well qualified to offer somewhat insightful reviews on various religious books. I generally seek to keep my own theological biases out of the review, so that I can fairly offer an evaluation of the author's work.
