About seric26

I'm an art history teacher and a library employee.
By style, I am a modernist. By sensibility, I'm postmodern. I like beauty. I care about issues. When the two don't agree, beauty wins.
Chauvinists are my enemies. I am a gay male feminist, and will always be so.
HOW AM I RATED?:
Sometimes too harshly. I'd rather be fun than thorough. That doesn't mean useless or beside the point, but I'm chatty and won't throw a list of specs at you. I like adjectives. I enjoy following where the streams of thought lead. It's kind of freeform. I'm sort of different. But special!
HOW DO I RATE?: Mysteriously, but one thing is clear: too short, and I'm disappointed. But, conversely, too long, and I nod off. There's a healthy balance in there somewhere, people.
I do like it when people are colorful, unique or passionate in their opinions. And I tend to trust writers who have expertise in a certain area.
I review all Björk albums. Except Medulla. What the heck was that? Here they are:
Volta
All is Full of Love
Selmasongs
Vespertine
Homogenic
Post
Debut

My most popular epinions by my own reckoning are on these things:
1. Digital Dreams, Analog Budget Say the word digital, as often as possible!
2. Old School Dance Classics It's true, disco will never die!
3. Bjork: Homogenic I promise to always review Bjork's new albums! Unless they're acapella, then you're on your own!
4. Budget Belgique Pans You guys like to cook!
5. Canon PIXMA printer You guys like the latest computer sales items!
My three least popular are:
1. Vonda McIntyre: Metaphase (forgotten sci-fi books don't go over well)
2. Urban Legends: Final Cut (apparently NOBODY but me went to see this flick!)
3. Premiere Magazine (Details and Interview reviews did better, and, well, they're still here, aren't they, unlike Premiere)
