I live in the Seattle area,and spend as much time as possible outdoors. I especially like river diving and hiking. I collect antiquarian books and love the classics. Fave authors would be Melville, Dickens, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Jules Verne, Dostoevsky. One of my favorite things to do is travel and I have done a bit in the Pacific and Far East: Thailand, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Burma, Fiji. Best reading lately? Silence, by Shusaku Endo, Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning and Soul Survivor, by Phillip Yancey. Have been getting into trail running lately which is liberating, exhilarating and sometimes, well, painful.
