***NEWS UPDATE I have been taking a break from Epinions for the past few weeks. I hope to be up and back to writing soon. I am still answering my email but have not had a chance to do much here in the past month. I purchased a new house and got moved in to it in November, In early February I learned that the company I work for is downsizing and my job will end come August. Not the best news for me :( I have missed Epinions and am starting to come here a little more now that I am getting use to the new way they have set everything up.
I am 29 years old and live currently in Phoenix Arizona with my wife Jenifer (not a misspelling) of six year, my daughter Conar (a rambunctious 4 years old) and my son Duncan (who is a mild mannered 3). I am a long time member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), which is an organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th-century European history. I work in the Hotel industry and travel as much as one can with a family. Most of my travels were done during and after my school years. I also did some travel during my four years in the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi). I have been to England (where I was born), Scotland, Wales, France, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq. The last four during the Gulf War (Operation Desert Shield/Storm).
I only found Epinions back on August 30th, 2000 so I am pretty new to this. I have found most opinions very informative and some down right funny.
I have given a few NR's (not recommended) and only do so to the worst of the worst. The NR's that I have given are to reviews that are plagiarized or one sentence cut, copied and pasted until the 100-word minimum was reached. I only reserve NR's for reviews that other readers and I should not waste their time on. I will always show my user ID when giving any rating (even when I NR). I do not believe in revenge rating and hope that you will do me the same courtesy. If I give a SR (somewhat recommended) I will try provide positive feed back to the person, as to why. I hope that anyone who gives me such a rating on a review would do the same as so I can improve. For more information about how I rate click here
