I am a 21 year old Home Day Care Provider. I have been married for over two years to my wonderful husband Kris who is a member of the USAF. Both my husband and I are attending college in the fall on full scholarships for Engineering and Computer Information. HOW I RATE
I am now a lot harder in my rating of a review. In the beginning I thought we were supposed to just give an epinion on whether we liked the product or not, sort of like a yay or nay approach. After spending more time reading other epinions including those of experts I realized what a high quality epinion should consist of.
A Highly Recommended Review This review covers every last detail and leaves no stone unturned. The product or service is explained thoroughly and there are no questions left unanswered. The author explains whether he or she liked or enjoyed the product/service in a clear, precise, easy to read manner. There are no grammatical errors or horrid use of the English language. The review is enjoyable or informative and I walk away with a clear picture of what the product or service could do for me.
A Recommended Review People who write recommended reviews fall into one of two categories. Either they are new and don’t yet understand the full idea behind epinions or they are afraid to fully express their ideas. In the beginning all of my reviews fell into the latter category until I went back and edited them. A recommended review may strongly detail one aspect of a product or service but you are left wondering about the product as a whole. The review may not read fluently due to broken ideas or grammar or there are just not enough complete thoughts. There may be several spelling or punctuation errors that bring the review down. Overall I believe with a little more effort every recommended review can be turned into a highly recommended review.
A Somewhat Recommended Review A somewhat recommended review leaves you wondering if the author even owned/used a product or service. There are only small minor details that almost anyone could guess about something. The language is poor and the word count barely graces 100. There is a strong lack of detail and description. The epinion as a whole is done in a haphazard manor and more effort is definitely to be desired.
A Not Recommended Review This is probably the easiest recommendation to describe. In a not recommended review the author gives no details, uses poor English, no punctuation, and commits many other errors. The author may repeat the same sentence over and over or plagiarize someone else's review. A not recommended review should be the easiest out of the recommendations to recognize even by that of a novice. If you come across one of these recommendations it is your duty as a fellow epinionator to report it to abuse@epinions.com.
I hope my way of rating appears as fair. I believe everyone has the ability to write high quality reviews and sometimes it just takes a recommended rating for you to go back and take a second look at your work. No rating is meant to hurt or offend, instead look at it as constructive criticism and an opportunity to improve yourself. Good luck and I hope you keep writing high quality reviews!!
