We used to be known as Sarah and Ed, but Sarah decided to split and now its just me, Fritz.
I haven't been on the site for a long time, but all that is about to change. I just finished my first novel and am in the process of working on another two. I plan on doing "warm up" writing here before I work on my novels. I'm going to keep the old profile much the same as before, except I'm changing all the "we's" to I's.
I have a long love it/hate it list because I'm usually pretty ambivalent about things. Annoyances: people who don't use turn signals; LITTERING (find a trash can for pete's sake); the fake smiles plastered on Wal-Mart Greeters; real-estate agents and used-car salesmen with slick hair and greasy smiles; musicals; compulsive cell phone users; insanely large SUVs; professional sports; collegiate sports; mullets; telemarketing calls & junk mail; chihuahuas (aka Ratdogs); ticks and other bloodsucking creatures; Jack Chick tracts; and dogs that bark all night.
Good stuff: long drives to nowhere in particular; Blue Bunny Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream; good books; the Internet; the snap of a mousetrap at three o'clock in the morning; freedom; coffee; the ongoing search for the perfect Mexican restaurant; Kansas; cows; and trees.
