I'm a 20 year old college student at the University of South Carolina studying journalism, military studies(Army ROTC) and French.
My interestes are varying(computers, music, games, enjoyable exercise, movies, writing, collecting, and more.)
I enjoy traveling and have done so at least once a month for the past 4 years. The type of traveling I've done under this definition is spending the night someplace I usually don't, be it the woods or my parents' house during the school year.
My goal in life: To write and publish novels.
I've recently realized I'm a workaholic and sometimes perfectionist(when it comes to things I care about.)
I'm still new to this site, although I'm now addicted and my prolific side wants to emerge again.
I'm figuring out who to trust, who to distrust and how to get my opinions read and enjoyed by more people.
If you present yourself well and I can understand what you're saying, I'll recommend your opinion or trust you.
If you hand out SR's like candy, have irreconciable bias, or if I think you really don't know what you're saying, or you seem outright confused, you're a prime candidate to be distrusted by me.
However, I find myself re-evaluating people, so you might not be on it long.
I appreciate comments, especially constructive ones.
I am angered by people who give SRs and especially NRs anonymously. I believe this to be an act of cowardice and immaturity. I believe these actions could ruin this site, as popularity wars will ensue over who can erase other people's writings from being seen by new members who have not changed their content filters. It will be a form of censorship and opression. If you must give an SR and especially a NR, tell the person why so they can learn from what you think their mistakes are.
If you add me to your WOT, I'll be sure to check out your writings.
I also rate more on content than gramatical/spelling errors; however, if you have errors every other sentence or more, it will detract from your rating.
The new epinions should be destroyed, and the old layout return. I really miss the comments; I'm hoping I just haven't found them on the new layout, but I was also hoping Bush Jr. wouldn't win that election.
