Epinions' Cats !!

Finally, sleeper54 is putting up some CATS stuff!!
|
|
When I returned here in late 2001 and started actively participating, I was struck by the 'feline' presence in the community. So I began to seek out cat pictures, icons, user-names, etc. Some I found on my own, others were sent to me in response to info I left with comments
In October of 2002 I posted an essay, ...Epinions's felines... that invited readers to visit my smaller collection at the time and to leave me pointers to any other users they knew of.
I had thought about posting the pictures directly here, but that would have required a lot of contacts to get all the required permissions.
So instead I'll just post links to the specific user pages.
Some have actual pictures or avatars of cats.
Others have user names that are (apparently) based on the idea of cats.
If any of you reading this know of additional cats that I might include, please forward them to me!
And thanks to all that have already sent me 'pointers' to specific user pages! These great epinioners include

Creating a link to specific content on your user-page

On an Epinions user-page the following code can be used to link to another spot on your user-page:
<a href="#sample">sample in-page link</a>
Elsewhere on your user-page, perhaps near the bottom you will create the 'target' for your link:
<a name="#sample">sample in-page link</a>
This 'link-target' combination would be useful for creating a link to a collection of review links farther down on your user-page. A link at the top and the 'bulkier' content farther down.
The 'target' can also be used as a direct link to that specific spot on your user-page from other Epinions pages (i.e. your review pages.) The #sample text will simply append to the URL of your user page:
http://www.epinions.com/user-sleeper54/show_~View_Profile#sample
Using your URL (with your user-name and your choice of 'target name') on other pages (i.e. your 'Lean-n-mean IV' review pages) will direct your reader directly to that anchor on your user-page. Where all your 'lean-n-mean' reviews (or other 'collections') could be listed and linked.
