About slimfx

I am, for the most part reviewing what I like - as a way of sharing. If I find something that seems particularly out of line however I will share that as well. I have no need of the pennies that give for reviews and will see if these can be sent to a charity.
I am a private person when it comes to the Internet - I've been on the Net for about 7 years now. I will try to post a picture, I have a lot of computer 'stuff' but am not into pictures so don't have much way of providing one. I'm a Yankee by birth but have lived in a dozen different states.
My pastimes are travel & reading. I prefer the Gulf of Mexico, US and Mexican shores - and the Caribbean. I traveled the States with my parents as a child, and in my young years - much by motorcycle - now I am expanding my reach. I love to read and usually read at least 2 books a week. I'm one of those people that must be doing something with my mind, I can not just sit and eat, sit on a plane, sit in a waiting area, sit in the sun or whatever - so I read - and over the years have become a very fast reader.
I don't watch much TV, but do watch quite a few movies - if I can find ones worth watching. I've never been happy with a movie if I read the book first.
Children changed my life - I was a bit on the wild side but settled down some after my first of two children. They are the most important things in my life.
I'm a bit of a workaholic - but when I can get away I enjoy myself.
I am college educated, ME - but English was never my strong point so please excuse the poor grammar you are sure to find in my reviews.
