Hey everyone. Thank you for being here. If you’ve rated my reviews or left me a comment then I’m indebted to you. And if you can be bothered to read my public profile then you deserve a medal. By the way - I'm sorry I haven't been here much recently. I will really try to stick around (and the Writer's Corner should help!).
First thing’s first – I’m Abi. I’m 16 years old but aspire to be older and wiser. Remember, writing is an ageless pastime. My mission on Epinions is to write quality reviews on things such as books, movies and music – things to entertain. The day I start on bug-spray then please report me to the Epinions Police and boot me outta here.
I live in the North of England, thousands of miles from Epinions’ epicentre but still close enough to feel the impact. I have three younger sisters who I keep pestering to join the site, but now Eroyalties have been dropped they don’t see the appeal. (Mercenary children!)
No, the thing I like about Epinions is the friends you make and the people you meet. So far I have struck up friendships with people all around the globe, from Australia to Russia to Canada to Hong Kong to the delights of the US of A. And there’s nothing more satisfactory than somebody leaving a comment – it really spurs you on.
I'd like to be a journalist or novelist and Epinions is fabulous practise. In training for this, I read, write and review. It's all on a learning curve, so forgive me if I'm not at the standard yet. My ultimate aim is to rate everyone who rates me - but in practice time is not enough and I can't make any promises for fear of breaking them. However, I will almost certainly visit you if you leave me a comment or e-mail.
I’m one of those mad artistic type people who have very little common sense but a lot of craft paper to cut up. I also love music of any shape or form, socialising with my friends (who doesn’t) and playing badminton. I am a Christian – I believe in a superpersonal God - and try to stay as open minded as possible, though not to the extent where my brain falls out.
My WOT started out with a few friends and luckily it's begun to expand. I try to trust with discretion and am always on the lookout for previously undiscovered talent. Epinions is a goldmine of incredible writers. Here are a few people I think deserve a mention:
Curen: She’s the Epinions beauty queen! (Oh yeh, and my best mate.)
Nic60: Check her out if you want to know about music, and don’t have an encyclopaedia.
Kuuleimomi: Kuuleimomi is not your standard epiniac. Her reviews are unique, and she also has the experience I need! She deserves a special mention for all the encouragement she gave me when I was new here.
Greatpilgrim:Greatpilgrim’s epinions are everything mine should be and more. Read her reviews and be amazed when you discover her age.
Cripper: Headbanger from Hong-Kong – he should hook up with Nic60. (Oh yeah – and he’s also supremely talented.)
Copernicus: Aussie cricket fanatic – they shattered us in the Ashes. Another asset to Epinions.
Divine_Cheese: A music man who likes cheese and apparently, is divine.
AdaDavis: In her own words, she is an ‘independent minded mugwump’ who just happens to write good reviews.
Pffrdfdus7: The number 1 well of knowledge on movies.
MumMumMum: Writes mainly in Kids and Family. Why? Well, you’d never have guessed – she’s a mum!

I love reading Epinions because most of them are not biased or misleading. I am much more likely to believe what you guys have to say than some commercial. So please keep writing, and advising me, coz heaven help me I need it!
