I like epinions.com very much. This site is so helpful and great especially when I am considering purchasing some, but frankly, I am not fond of this review rating system. What is this for? To impress others with great writings or to educate others with lots of product features that users can obtain from manufacturers' sites or users manuals? Do we have to make our writings look great? Can't we just say honest impressions as they are? This is intimidating! I think we should just simply enjoy talking and hearing about products without being too obsessed with how much we earn or concerned what readers think. Rating others or being rated is such a weird concept. WE are NOT PRODUCTS. Plus, I don't think writing product review should be for earning money... It freaks me out when someone writes me, "how to improve your writing and rating" stuff.. please be kind enough to give me a little break.
