About SMITHSWOODSIDE

I am 55 years old and have been married for 33 years. We have twins, a boy and a girl. They are now twenty seven.
I spent 22 years in a Bank, both here in Adelaide and ten years in Sydney, then owned the family shoe retail business of three generations and since 2002 a social justice worker.
Epinions to me is a source of relaxation. I never write to please, or cause upset, just whatever pops into my consciousness. I like to incorporate some humour whenever possible, but still write from a factual base.
I have had some detractors but many more positive reactions - what will be will be. My opinions are many and varied and being one of the few foreigners are often from a slightly different perspective.
I thank my mentor LadyCynic, without whose help I wouldn’t be where I am today.
