I love films. Show me something that I haven't seen 1000 times before in a film. It doesn't have to be great, just original. Romeo Is Bleeding is a perfect example of this. An excellent film because of it's originality. La Femme Nikita, Orlando, and Bladerunner are also excellent examples.
I am addicted to The Sopranos on HBO. I will be glued to the TV at 9PM on Sunday to see each new episode.
I used to have written here that I didn't have the heart to give out SR or NR ratings. I have since decided that this just must be done if we are going to have anything to contrast the good writing with. My reviewing standards have also gone up, and I will usually give out a R if the epinion gives the basics, and save HR for the best of the best reviews.
I also can't stand when people give a review I wrote a 'not recommended' just because they don't agree w/the opinion.
If you have a criticism of an opinion of mine, write a public comment. If you truly hate what I said, let the world know, not just me.

Self-Pity
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.
D. H. Lawrence
A bad manner spoils everything, even reason and justice; a good one supplies everything, gilds a No, sweetens a truth, and adds a touch of beauty to old age itself. * Baltasar Graciàn
