I'm not quite a Seattle native, having been born in Eugene, but Seattle's been home since I was 9. I'm a graduate of O'Dea High School and the University of Portland [Oregon], currently working at NetMotion here in Seattle, a spin-off of WRQ [who I worked for on the Holistix product]. Before that I worked at Northwest Protective, a security firm, and before that at Chihuly Studio [yes, *that* Chihuly for those of you who know glass art].
A few years ago I bought a house here in town, and remodeling it takes up a lot of my time. I also dabble with Linux, try to keep at least somewhat current on movies, read whatever I can get my hands on, and spend time with my wife Jenn and our cats Fergus & Psycho. I survived the WTO "riots" just fine, and keep a close eye on our Mayor Nickels and City Council. I am hoping our Monorail initiative passes in and love our bus system, Metro [transit.metrokc.gov].

I don't have nearly as much time as I'd like to spend here at Epinions; there are a million things, many of which are practically in my back yard, that I'd love to write more about if I only had the time :)
I tend to be pretty opinionated about my reviews; if I've given you a SR or NR and didn't have time to leave a comment explaining why, please feel free to e-mail me and ask for some clarification. I'm impatient with grammar and spelling errors, particularly when they detract from the meaning of your review. I expect more than just the bare minimum information, and like to have some feel for why you like or dislike something - more than just "it rocks!" or "it sucks".
