I have been here at eopinions now for over a year. I still don't know the secret to mega hits or a large WOT, but I have learned that there are some fabulous writers out there. And that alone is worth the trip to this site.
I kinda specialize in movies & non-main stream music. I have to admit that movies & music are both a passion for me. I have been an opera fan since about age 14 and I am very picky when it comes to good singing.
I like everything from Willie Nelson to Frankie Ruiz to Trisha Yearwood to Dio to Grupo Niche to Linda Rondstadt to Pavarotti. Music has no boundaries, unlike so many other areas in life that do.
I love movies so much because they can teach us about ourselves and each other. They help to bridge a gap between what we are & what we know to what we may never have experienced otherwise. Their medium has changed and affected us more than perhaps any other media introduced in the last 2000 years. The impact movies have cannot be underestimated. They can teach, instruct, move and make you laugh.
To use a line from the movie, "Shadowlands" if we read to know we are not alone- perhaps we also watch movies to know we are not alone.
I would like to thank the few loyal readers I have here. You have given me the confidence to continue writing- and although I don't have the time to write a review everyday- I will still return whenever I can to read and write.
