Married twice, this time happily, with 2 grown up children (now also a super-gran for the first time) and 2 teenage step-children. Have worked for the Bank of England, lived and worked in Germany for 10 years and am now an office manager for an IT company in Cambridge. I've also worked as a Special Constable in the Police Force for several years (it was the black tights and handcuffs that did it for me!!!).
Currently I am a part-time first responder which entails going to medical emergencies and giving first aid, oxygen or defibrillating before the ambulance arrives.
I absolutely adore travelling but only started flying when I met 'The Hubs'. He worked in Switzerland at the time and tempted me with a free flight to visit him.
Mark (The Hubs) is a Financial Controller and keen traveller also, cos once I got the bug he either had to stay at home or become as enthusiastic as me. Back in 2000 we met another couple at the same hotel in Sri Lanka -Alan and Margaret, and since then have become firm friends and spend most holidays travelling together with them. So if you read any of my reviews, these are often mentioned as our travel companions.
