About suprstar
I'm a musician, I mainly play guitar, but I can hold my own with drums and piano. I'm a metal head, listening, playing and production. Played guitar in 3 bands long term over the last 20 years, but I recently quit my last one.. Now that I have the family life going on bands are too time consuming. I have a full blown recording studio in my basement with enough instruments and recording/PA gear to record/mix/master an entire cd myself. I have audiophile grade sound systems in my car, home theater, and studio. I'm a self employed IT Consultant, system analyst, open source junkie, self taught old skool professional hacker for hire. I compile my own kernels. I play with the rev code on my switches, routers, and core equipment. I stress test networks and perimeters. I never EVER allow MS servers on my network. I do anything my clients want including programming, DBA work, unix admin, network firewalls/routers/switches, copper/fiber infrastructure, phone switches, hell I'll even change dead hard drives out of PC's if they wanna pay my rate for that.. I'm a poker player. Back in the days of online poker, I made thousands at it every year. It was a side job, a nice supplemental income, I even filed taxes on it. Now that the feds outlawed it, all the fish are gone, and I have to be content taking my friends' loose change once a month.. The casinos areound here are ok, a little too far away to make it worthwhile as a job. Thanks a lot feds..
