I was born in England and lived there for 40 years. I now reside in Florida, U.S.A. with my husband, of 30 years. We traveled Europe extensively before moving here. My husband Len, was in the Royal Air Force for 22 years, before I met him. He has many a tale to tell.
We loved the restaurant business and did extremely well. Unfortunately ill health on my husbands part, forced us to give it up.
I just live for life. My husband, my family in England, and my two ever present cats.
Both cats have now passed away.
I have found that I very much enjoy reading and rating other reviews. I try to be as honest as possible and trust that others will show the same respect.
If you have read my reports/reviews I promise to get back to you. It may take a little while, but I am reading and rating more authors each day.
I am also enjoying making friends here and receiving great e-mails.
One of my greatest pleasures, here at Epinions, is meeting other writers. I have been lucky enough to have dinner with ifif1938 (Barbara), and lunch with glomarrone (Gloria).
Hope to meet lots more. Meeting Barbara and Irving a second time was so exciting. This time it was in Miami and we had a blast. Then March of 2004 I met AlanCrax (Alan) and his charming wife, at Busch Gardens. We had a great time showing off my favorite place. Low and behold, Barbara and Irving were heading to Orlando in July 2004, so you know what, we met up again. It is just like having a sister. I feel I didn't miss out, now that she is in my life. We headed back down to Miami Novemeber of 2006 and enjoyed their company again.
I still manage to swim most days. My favorite time of the year is when I visit with my grand-daughter, in England. Now must change this to my two wonderful grand-daughters in England. Nothing pleased me more than holding that new, beautiful baby, who arrived in February, 2004.
Len had further heart surgery on 2nd November, 2005, March of 2007, January 2010, and this past July. For a guy who is 77 he is doing great.
Had a great time between Christmas and New Year. Jo.com came to Florida and we invited her and her husband to a dinner dance. After we chatted all about Epinions.
My writing is slowing down, due to Len's health, and all the vacations we take. However, my friends here at Epinions mean the world to me, and this is the site I come to first.
