My name is CeCe Turner. I am married to a wonderful man who I oddly enough met on eharmony.com. Together we have four children. Our oldest is now 25, and our youngest is 12.
My husband is the most wonderful man in this world. To say that I love him is a gross understatement. I absolutely adore him, and other than Jesus Christ, he is the object of all of my devotion. I trust him implicitly and he trusts me as well. It is wonderful to be able to be with someone, be yourself, and have no fears.
Our oldest son is in college majoring in mental health.
Our 19 year old son has high functioning autism, and dreams of being a chef. However, because of his disability he cannot get a GED and thus cannot go to culinary arts school. He was attending Young Chefs Academy but our local location has just closed.
Our daughter is a beautiful young lady who has a glorious singing voice and whom I anticipate will be in a career in show business. And our youngest son is an absolute joy. He dreams and imagines the most wonderful things, and has aspirations of really I guess becoming a Samari warrior! Or something of that sort!
My life is interesting. I have been through hell and back and have survived challenges that would have probably killed other people.
My most trying challenge is trying to help our autistic son get the skills and education that he needs to become a productive person in today's world. This is very trying to me because it seems that the world is stacked against people with disabilities.
Even so, I love those teens and adults with disabilities and I long to hang out with them all of the time because they see the world differently. I'm very active in Special Olympics on the county and state level as a coach for bocce ball and basketball skills.
I'm not ashamed as well to say that I am a true Christian. I do not play around when it comes to the truth of the Word of God. I love Jesus Christ and He is the Lord and Savior of my life. Without Him I am absolutely nothing.
I have a strict Christian World View, and I am horrified at the state of our nation in regards to the original Christian values that were set up by our Founding Fathers. They would come out their graves if they could see what is happening in this world.
It makes me think about the movie, Time Changer, which has a professor going from late 1800s into today's world where he is horrified at the state of the morality of our nation and the seeker friendly nature of the church (instead of preaching the Gospel). I really believe our Founding Fathers would be shocked to see what has happened to our government in regards to the Constitution.
I love baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Gwinnett Braves which is the minor league affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.. I love LSU football and bleed purple and gold.
I love to vegetable garden and find that to be a great stress reliever.
I could rattle on forever, but I won't. I hope you enjoy the articles here. I'm not here near as much as I was in the past, but I do come by occasionally.
