Hi. My name is Paul Frye. I am a 65 year-old married guy and I live in Northern California. I have been married for 28 years. My wife, Pat, and I live quietly here in Cottonwood. I moved to California from the east coast in 1968.
I worked in the health field for the past thirty years and have retired. I wrote grants, program designs and training materials. For three years (1991-94) I was a Case Manager for people with AIDS and that, somehow, changed my life. In November, 2001 I was appointed by Governor Davis to serve on the State Rehabilitation Council and served as chair of the Council in 2002.
I enjoy a variety of outdoor sports, including rowing a drift boat. I find this a fine vehicle for adventure, and for relaxation. Sometimes I describe myself as an aging health services slug, and sometimes I say I’m just a country boy from Cottonwood. Peace.
