I LOVE music... I listen to all kinds, including Alternative, Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Hip Hop. I've played the clarinet, tenor sax, and piano. I love learning new things and learn them quick.
I read a lot of books related to Self Empowerment/Self Help/Relationships.
I like to strengthen my inner self and how I communicate with people.
I am hair-obsessed! I love reading anything from books to online journals on nappy hair. I love learning different ways of styling my type of hair and also reading of people with my type of hair. I am currently maintaining my own online hair journal, "My Cottony Hair Journal." It's about how I maintain my natural hair.
Another thing that I personally enjoy is Research. Can't get enough of it! My Favorites menu is filled with over 30 folders with more subfolders containing links about everything from Health to Hong Kong. My Favorites menu is very close to me. It's 3 year's worth of useful websites so I back up regularly ;)
I love designing. I grew up drawing, and from there developed an interest in Architecture, Engineering, Flyer design, Webpage design, Graphics, and Computers.
I became a Certified A Technician when I attended a trade school. A week after graduation I started working in the field, and some months later I went back to the community college system. I'm grateful for the technical skills that I gained thus far, but I needed more out of a career than being a Computer Technician.
I'm now attending the University of my choice (after applying for 3 yrs!) and thank God for this great opportunity--I LOVE it here! ---------------------------------
