I want to thank everyone who offered up their prayers and support for my mother, Martha, during her recent illness.
Mother had Amelonic Malignant Melanoma, a particularly nasty strain of the disease. She knew it was terminal, and set about getting her affairs in order, as well as preparing myself and the twins.
She did a wonderful job, and while the twins and I were braced for the worst, Mother lived her life normally until Valentines. Then her health started slipping.
She went downhill very quickly, with little pain, and died peacefully in her sleep. For this we are eternally thankful.
Keep the prayers coming for a cure to cancer, tell your family you love them, forgive a friend who has angered you, and have your moles removed.
