At 39 years old (and holding, ahem), I'm a recent first-time new mother of an absolutely adorable son born in May 2000. Professionally, I'm President and CEO of a small software firm specializing in arcane, highly mathematical, financial modeling applications, the details of which are likely to make your eyes glaze over, unless you're a geek like me.
My son is five years old now and has become a notorious game fiend. I'm working my way through reviewing some of the most interesting games (and one or two duds) that we've found to feed his addiction.
Wondering about the profile pic? That's a family portrait our son made in his kindergarten class. (I'm the one in the middle.) He evidently believes we are a family of oddly-proportioned nudists.
