I was born in the USA in 1966 to Asian immigrant parents. I grew up in the Midwest, attended college in NY and Wisconsin, and have lived as an adult in the San Francisco Bay area, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
I've had two careers: radio news and the Internet. In radio, I was a reporter and anchor for a National Public Radio station. On the Web, I've worked at startups, Internet corporations, and major established media companies.
I love movies, pop music, consumer electronics, driving, travel, exercising, dining out, and surfing the 'net. Faves: BMWs and hybrid cars, Ridley Scott, Tori Amos, Cannondale and Specialized bicycles, Hawaii, London, Vancouver B.C., the San Francisco Bay area, ethnic restaurants, Los Angeles, and Apples. I've been married since 1990 and have one son.
